It is cheap pressed metal - that cheap metal that fromChina. It has very small and delicate windings and will last if it is bolted onto your wall out of reach. If you open it up, you will realize it costs about $0.50 in parts to build. This is a typical cheap Chinese junk. But it is the only one like it in a shiny case.
